Hi, I’m John Gittins – founder and lead tutor at Get In-Tuition.  I have been tutoring children for their 11+ entrance exams for over a decade, assisting hundreds of children realise their potential, exceed their expectations and build confidence in English, Maths and reading.  

I have spent my professional career developing an 11 plus course that helps every child and parent tackle the complexities of entrance exams with ease and assurance.
In my lessons I work to each student’s learning styles, and utilise a series of methods to help absorb and retain new information. Mnemonic techniques, active learning and efficiency skills combine to create fun and interactive lessons, while promoting a basic but solid understanding and can lead on to an advanced course mastery with practice. I meet students and parents alike everyday who are confused about the exam procedure, topics or standardised scores.
